Nikka Whisky's first distillery and guardian of their tradition, Yoichi is located on the coast of Hokkaido. A subtle blend of Yoichi casks of various ages, of which a large portion was matured in ex-sherry casks. The perfect representative of Nikka's historic single malt expresses a delicate balance of smoky, fruity and floral flavours with subtle coastal and peaty notes.

Yoichi whiskey has a bold and strong peat flavored aroma. On the plate, it brings a delicate balance between peat flavours created by distillation in stills heated directly with charcoal, smoke and fruit.
