The 16-year assortment from the Triple Cask range displays a strongly aromatic bouquet, extremely elegant and pleasant. Unlike the younger version, this single malt presents more intense notes of vanilla, fruit and spices. Balvenie 16 years Triple Cask is obtained by a marriage of whiskey aged in three types of casks: first fill American oak casks, re-used traditional casks and first fill Oloroso sherry casks. Although it is a complex assortment, it is easy to drink and is especially aimed at those who prefer aromatic and sophisticated single malts. 

TASTING NOTES

Aromas of lotus blossom, geranium, green apple skin and spring meadows fill the nose, complemented by notes of lemon rind, grapefruit, ginger, vanilla, honey and candied fruit throughout the palate.
