The method is similar to that of aged white rum, where the aged alcohol is filtered to remove the colour. This Añejo was matured for a year in American oak barrels and is rich in aromas of vanilla and coconut. TASTING NOTES

The nose is agave-driven with warm notes of vanilla and coconut. Zesty citrus aromas lead to grapefruit and lemon zest on the palate. Every edge is rounded, it is full and creamy but not at all heavy. The finish is pure tequila bliss, a little sweet but not spicy.

HOW TO SERVE

Añejo Cristalino makes a great marinade for gravlax and other seafood, including oysters and caviar.
