Ardbeg An OA is a cold unfiltered whiskey from Islay in Scotland. It is a combination of different casks: aged in Pedro Ximenez barrels and ex-Bourbon barrels. This creates a complexity that makes the malt taste older than it really is. Strongly carbonized, the result being a special one, which brings to the fore an explosion of flavors.

TASTING NOTES

Ardbeg An Oa is a smoky whiskey in the nose with hints of toffee, aniseed, dates and fruit. Furthermore, light aromas of chocolate and spices can also be recognized. The slightly sweet taste comes from the Pedro Ximenez barrels. The whiskey has a lingering and intense finish.
